2011 VW Jetta Turbo Diesel. I've been driving it for about 6 months now. Great MPG's, plenty of room for copier crap, and it's fun to drive. In sport mode it's hard to keep from smoking the tires. Very torquey.

I drive a Toyota 2013 Hiace, 'courier van' layout with the rear hardwood floor, with synthetic carpet on top. It is fitted with a modified wheelchair lift in the back. Roll machine on, lift up to van height, roll into the back and strap to the cargo barrier behind the front seats. Makes installation and pickups that much easier.

Can I brag that I get it for personal use as well? Not a very practical family car, but easily sleepable in the back if you need a place to crash.

Me and most of us have 2004 ford focus. Each one has their quirks. Mine vibrates loud compared to the other tech's focus. There are also about three pt cruisers and a couple of techs that drive the most got a new KIA sol. They have three more kia Sol they purchased, decaled up and have been parked for months with no one driving them for some reason.

Our lads drive the Ford Mondeo and the Focus both in the Titanuim trim and recently a few Hyundia's have been brought into the fleet and they too are nicely specked. All our engineers have fuel cards so no need to be out of pocket for fuel and all parking is re-imbursed.

Myself I drive a Audi A4 S-line special edition with 19inch alloys and lowered sport suspension.

2010 Toyota Yaris. Fuel card and fleet maintanance agreement with Toyota.

All my other expenses such as hotels, meals, parking and so on are reimbersed.

We get given a company car. Me and one other tech are driving a VW Caddy Turbo Diesel. Plenty of get up and go with the option to turn traction control off. 1 tech is given a Hyundai i30 turbo Diesel and the other drives his own car (reimbursed etc).

We have 1 other vehicle which stays at the office; It's a Mercedes Sprinter turbo Diesel with a raised roof. It's used for installs.

The caddy's are a decent car. Plenty of room in the back for parts. Can even fit a C280 without a base attached. Decent km/L (MPG for you yanks).

But sometimes I wish we had something sportier to drive. Like that blue commodore earlier. Or even the Audi A4 that someone mentioned. That'd turn heads and get our brand noticed wouldn't it?

Must be nice for some of you euro guys driving A4s and Beamers haha If I drove one of them the customer would think I was one of them big city folks from Atlanta or Memphis.. Not very practical in some places we have to serve. Also makes you a target for getting robbed in some areas. We did have a sales rep come in from ATL in an A4 6speed manual once, it was a very slick car indeed.

We get to drive Nissan Versas with our logo splattered on the side. Not a bad car. Not the most comfortable on long trips but tolerable. Far cry from the old beat up trucks we used to drive. We have a Toyota Tacoma with a trailer for deliveries. We get a gas card and have to pay for nothing. We don't get to drive them home. In some ways that's good because I don't have to be responsible for them all the time.

I suppose I could google it, but I would rather ask you. what are you guys down under paying for diesel? we pay $3.75 - $4.00 a gallon in our indiana area.

Down Under, we pay anywhere from $AU 1.50 - $AU 1.60 a Litre (3.79 US Gallons) for Diesel.

It can vary quite wildly depending on Service Station ownership (Caltex, Choice Petroleum, Shell, BP etc) and location. I find most Servo's on the highway are slightly cheaper than ones in town. But it varies from city to city as well.

His number was right. His measure was wrong. 1gal = 3.785544 L or around 3.79.
