Correction: Talked to the owner and he told me the machine is near the 2M mark, but still needs 2 more millions - it has around 18M. He bought a 920 in the meantime, which is already at around 15M.

I have 2 Ricoh MP1135's that are around 7 Million - had a Lanier 5485 (Ricoh 850) that topped out just shy of 11Mil (and was still running OK) A bunch of Pro906's that are a little over a year old and over 7Mil, and will probably have to go 35Mil before they're allowed to retire.

Some of these machines are doing things a Cannon, KM, or Brand X cannot do - i.e. High speed AND high density solids, 0.1mm registration accuracy (VDP on pre-printed stock), Cheapskate owners (O.K. we all have to deal with this one, but these machines cost 1/4 of a Xerox of the same production capacity, and the click charge is comparable.)

I don't have enough clicks on the Ricoh ProC900's to be able to brag on them yet, but my customers have put them through everything they expect of their iGen3 and NexPress (except paper size) that cost 3 or 4 times more, and the C900 has performed better.

Canon IR600 approaching 3 million. Not totally impressive but it's in an environment where it runs 7-8 hours non-stop a day at times. Supposedly it doesn't jam but maybe once too.

They seem to be a very reliable machine.

I know this is cheating since this is a round the clock production machine but Oce Varioprint 6250, 160 million+. And here's one for Ripley's: Kyocera AI-2310L , 700,000+ with good image quality and no squealing, squeaking or jamming.

I've always wanted to see one of those Oce's live. I guess they have a 300ppm one now. It still boggles my mind how everything can work that fast. Just think by the time you say "1 mississippi..." five duplexed prints are on the exit tray...pretty impressive.

Well, to get that speed it has two simultaneous imaging belts that get both sides in one shot. So really it's like 150ppm. The cool part about this customer (Amazon book printer) is that the stacker had a security device attached to it. So when it was full and the glass door opened, it would sound an alarm.

Most computer cases have an alarm, but no one ever really hooks them up.
