    Highest copy count?

I'm curious, what's the highest copy count you've ever had a copier reach?

The highest I've had would be a Panasonic 7750 with about 2,329,000 pages. The thing still had decent copy quality when it was retired a few months ago.

Minolta DI 750 6,250,000 and still cranking out 700K a year.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Mita DC1824F , several at over 5 million some at 6 and 7 million plus and one at over 8 million 11x17's and thats counting it as one sheet. The 1824 series was a unique series that is no longer made, but damn good workhorses.
Also a bunch with well over 7 million 18x24 copies, but it clicks twice for those.

One of our regional municipalities had two Aficio 2105's, both of which reached beyond 22 Million (last time I was personally there), the third unit was a 2090 that cleared 12 Million.

WoW! I never dreamed anything with the name Ricoh on it would last beyond 500,000.
I just did a call today on a Canon ir7105 that's 3yrs old with 7.6 mil on it. It runs like a champ, maybe 20 service calls in 3 yrs and only had to put the usual fuser rollers, feed tires, drum and corona wires.

But the most copies I've seen were on some ir110's there were 6 in one room and 4 of them had 66 million.

We've got a Konica 8050 that went in about 4 years ago; it should hit 9 million very shortly.

I love them big Konicas. Pulled a 7272 that did 6 million in three years and now in the same location is a Bizhub 600 doing around 200,000 a month. The big machines love to run all day.

I never believed it was the brand that worked so well as it was the service it recieved and how clean it was kept.
Being the only person that fixes it helps a lot.

Damn! I was really pleased with 3.6M on a Sharp AR-M700 and a couple of Mita DC-5585's.

I have a Bizhub 1050pro with 21million on it, Its not being used that much now...Thank God!! I hate the booklet maker on it.

Also have a BizC253 with 1.4 million on it and its only 18 months old which is not to bad for one of them.

Years ago, one of our techs was servicing one of those old Sharp 7370 table top models, that had almost 5 million on it and looked to be in like new condition to look at it.

I had a Xerox Docutech 135 with 24 million on the counter. Replaced it in July with a DCP 700

Got a Ricoh 1075 with 8.7 million on the clock. Amazed it's still running.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                              Hit it.
