Re: Highest copy count?
That might be the highest figure I've come across before...even after reading the highest copy count thread on this forum.
I've seen stats on some big expensive printing presses (the real ones) that go many tens and over a hundred million impressions but I'm not sure what the highest one is.
There's four things with the presses though.
1. They're made better than "digital presses"
2. Most cost a boat load more money
3. Many will probably be around for half or maybe even a century with some rebuilds
4. An impression could mean more than a letter size page with multiple ups on a big sheet or web.

Re: Highest copy count? Konica Bizhub 920 with over 15 MILLION and STILL GOING STRONG
We have 7 920's in service, we run a ton of B&W self mailers on colored paper. Just pulled one due some wacky stuff at 13.5 million. After 10-12 million the BELTS that drive the rollers start to go, but a few hundred dollars and you can keep it going another 2-3 million. As long as the machine run's well and no boards go, they last as long as you take good care of them.Comment
