    The Future of America?

This picture was taped to the front of a machine at a local public school. It is not often I can capture photographic proof of some of the things I see on a daily basis, but in this case I did. If these are the teachers, what will the children be like?! 100_1642.JPG

From my experience as a copier tech, teachers are by far the dumbest customers I ever had. Either that or copy machines are a teacher's Kryptonite...

A custodian explained it like this one day...."teachers go to school for twelve years, just like you and me. But when they graduate, they go back to school to learn how to TEACH first through twelfth grade. So basically, they only know what they learned in school." And never call a custodian a janitor, they hate it!!

          Shocking grammar
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

If you live in the south, this is normal grammar. I'm so used to hearing it I had to read it twice to see it. No one speaks good English anymore. It doesn't matter what country you're from either. There are just as many in Canada, England and Australia...but America is the worst, I'm embarrassed to say.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

I am with you prntrfxr, I did not get it this morning, I see it now. I found a note on the front of a copier that read "do not use this draw". I just guessed they spelled it like they say it.

I would have penned in the correction "of" with large black marker and then on the bottom of the page in small print, "edited by the copier technician"
"Many years ago I chased a woman for almost two years, only to discover that her tastes were exactly like mine: we both were crazy about girls."

Remember a few years back when they were teaching Ebonics as part of the regular curriculum in the Oakland school district? You would have probably had to go sensitivity training classes for doing that. Lol...

I'm having bad visuals of experiencing what Peter Griffin had to go through on Family Guy....for telling this simple joke....

                      Why do women have breasts?

So men have something to look at when they talk to them....

BAD joke. But the fallout was priceless.....

Being from Mississippi I had to study it really hard to find anything wrong, and it finally dawned on me: An ellipsis is supposed to be three (3) dots, not 5.
