    I hate when this happens.

Here I was, trying to resolve a problem. Think I found a solution, but I didnt understood why it worked. I needed more time, needed more proof. Manager wanted a piece of it, so he went ahead modified and turned the solution into his. Guess what, it didnt work.

To add to injury, he consulted with a non geek who thinks cleaning the machine will resolve every issue, WTF!

Sometimes, pls leave the geeky stuff to the geeks, cuz not everyone can be one.

    /end rant.

I got a funny story about that.

It was about four years ago. I got a call from my manager that my first call had to be at this insurance place. No explanation, just start there.

When I arrived there were parts and sub-assemblies all over the floor. It was probably a Sharp-Tiger from the accessories leaning against the wall. The customer said that the manager had showed up around 8:00 yesterday morning, and left this disaster around 3:00. The original code was L6-10 (laser).

Now I'll be the first to say that the old style engine of a Sharp AR-M350N was a lot more difficult to change a laser, but personally I think he was showboating for a pretty secretary and got in over his head. I confess that I got a good bit of enjoyment out of making it look easy. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Serves him right for taking credit for an incomplete theory.
