    OH the mighty paper clip!

What can I do without thee...

Macguyver must've been a copier tech.

And they cause all sorts of problems when inside a copier.

SPC Material = small paper clip
LPC Material = large paper clip

Would you like yours sharpened and heated and pressed, or drilled then glued? Either way, the most versatile tool in my arsenal.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The only paper clip I have a problem with is this one...

Whoever thought it would be a good idea to create this spawn of Satan needs setting on fire.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

Great post! Interesting paper clip info:

Paper clip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

I carry 3 sizes of paper clips along with 2 sizes of binder clips. You never know when you need something a little thicker or have to hold something in place until the epoxy dries. I have engineered more repairs than I can remember through the years.

Stronger than SPC and LPC are coathanger, and fence wire. But the fence wire requires those big fence pliers that I don't carry around in my toolbag. =^..^=

No one's mentioned replacing e-clips? Now, I carry a ton of spares, but in the past I twisted those suckers around the shaft and slept like a baby.
