Re: 3 minutes to remove a paper jam?

My personal best for a paper jam is about 8 hours on a Brother fax machine. The only way to get to where the paper was, was to strip the machine to the frame and then take the frame apart.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Not quite - If you reduce jams, you reduce the number of times you open/close the machine's doors. So, you reduce the stabilization time, ergo reducing toner consumtion. Elementary, my dear Jmaister.

Switched to Navigator a couple of years ago.
          Deacent paper,
but for about two months now am experiencing its badly cut...like knife isnt sharp enough...have to remove like 5pcs of paper from every pack...

Regarding paper jams...happened to me also,to have to diassembel half of machine to get to it...
Also some people are really slow at this.
So 3min average seems about right...
