    Maybe you should ask Zaza.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Those little red cards are there because some of our members don't care for your advice or unethical behavior. It's the opinion of our members based on your posts.

The best way to get a good reputation is to give good advice, and act in an ethical fashion. It won't happen instantly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I have -90 rep points and I actually find that quite amusing Just try not to bother and focus on what people reply to you with words - everything else is meaningless, at least as long as you get along fine with most users, getting positive feedback to your suggestions, having nice PM conversations. We all probably know highly decorated assholes in our real life, so why should we try to re-enact the game in the virtual world, knowing it's more or less meaningless if people can easily push you up and down anonymously without the need to justify this kind of decisions. In case you still bother: Get a new account and start over as often as you like. Or think about getting more than one account to push up your ratings by yourself if it's that important to you. Of course that's stupid and childish - almost like playing the game as it's supposed to be played.

I kind of wondered how somebody with 10 posts could have a rep power of 5. And I thought they were just really smart

Most of my rep came from posting something funny.... Maybe try that. Well, unless you're not funny, then you may end up with more red cards.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Re: How to remove the red card!!

I gave one post to someone to RTFB free OP manual in big red letters to see what would happen.
My rep dropped by 1 point overnight. Oh Boo Hoo! I raised it back up by solving another user's weird problem that I had solved by posting a solution I found.

I have found that the same user names that have high rep points have input a boatload of information, if not entertainment.
The users that beg for free manuals, get personal against other users, whine about other users posts posts or report a user because they got their feelings hurt tend to get red cards.
It is an indication of behavior judged by all the other users on this site that really don't even know each other, but respond as a group of copier techs just trying to make a living and sharing information or insight to solve a problem.
This also shows the quality of character of the GREEN cards, that they will take their time to give ideas of what to look for that solves the problem.
If you have red cards, you created them by your posts and or GIMME requests.

                    Just my 0.002 observation.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
