Re: oldest machine still in service ?
Minolta EP-4300 since 1991 because of the white toner colour unit it has.
Still also a few EP-2120, one EP-3170 and a EP-70
All analogs.

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
Went to a Ricoh 250 the other day dating from 1996, thought I'd seen the last of them a while ago. Also went to a Canon GP series machine (don't remember the exact model as I'm not really a Canon guy) recently that's still hanging on.....barely.
Still got quite a few Ricoh 350/450s, 551/700s and I know of one 850 still lurking out there just waiting to ruin my day!
Very, very occasionally I'll get a call out to a Ricoh FT analogue that's still kicking around but these mercifully are getting very thin on the ground.Comment

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
The answer would be me.Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
We have about 12 Canon NP6551s we use for our rental fleet. I've just convinced our rental guy it's time to upgrade, whose been reluctant because he knows them so well. Some models have 5 mil plus on them. We also have a Xerox 813(early 70s desktop copier) in our lobby. They used to call it the toaster because there was a small chance of paper catching on fire if it got stuck in the fuser.
I had a couple of Xerox 1090s in my garage until a couple of years ago. Took them to the scrap yard.Michael Rizer Free Technical SupportItem Inc. 800-367-4836 mrizer@iteminc.com Comment

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
Oh man I wish I would have known about you having the 1090s.
I freakin' loved those big beautiful beasts. I have extremely fond memories of myself and the 1090.
If I find one I'll probably get it just for it nostalgia purposes.

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
There were 3 and they took up 75% of the whole garage. We used them for parts, but I don't think we've serviced one in 10 years. I was ready to get the space back. These were pretty whipped though. Lots of missing covers and parts.Michael Rizer Free Technical SupportItem Inc. 800-367-4836 mrizer@iteminc.com Comment

Re: oldest machine still in service ?
I know what you mean.
Last I had dealt with one was a few years ago. They're probably about all out of circulation by now...although I wouldn't be surprised if one turned up at some point.Comment
