Sometimes meals around my house are interesting. My Dearly Beloved is a Southern Raised ( taught by her mom and aunts ) wonderful cook: my Daughter-in-law is a Southern Taught cook, and a Certified Chef. These two women sometimes EXPERIMENT with normal recipies.......OH MY GOODNESS......the ingredient list may be scarry, but, the end result is always worthwhile.
GOSH, I LIKE EATING.....IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE HOBBIES .

              Experimental food? Check.

My wife did a year of culinary school, she loves cooking...

Makes what I like to call a heart attack on a plate --
Involves a chicken breast cut butterfly style right up the middle, a bit of bacon and some cheese in the middle, coat the whole thing in a mushroom soup gravy and serve over a bed of rice.

A little part of me dies in happiness every time I eat it, pretty sure it's one of my arteries.

My favorite pies are blueberry crumb, black raspberry custard, pumpkin custard, shoefly pie, and poor man's pie.

Black raspberries are also good in a bowl with milk and sugar.

I was considerably lighter when I had to eat my own cooking. PLEASE don't teach me anything that will help my wife make me fatter!

Bacon wrapped venison. Marinated the venison in A1 Chicago style steakhouse marinate. Wrap in Bacon. Grill in wrapped tin foil for about 30 minutes or 2 beers and then put on grill rack to crisp up Bacon. Side note I recommend wrapping in Bacon before marinating It's not as messy. Enjoy with more beer.
