Compared to Red Eat's the McLobster sucks. You don't put lettuce on a lobster roll and it had way too much mayo. It's sacrilegious!

When I was in Maine last (3 or 4 years ago), we were able to get 2 pound and a half lobsters for $2. Not per pound $2 total for 2 lobsters. I really miss Maine, up until the end of September and then I miss it again after late May.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

Wow... Just wow... And now it's $14 per claw, or some absurdly high number. Almost makes me want to get a passport.

I think it's time to bump this thread. Perhaps someone can share some yummy holiday treats?

My wife loves to bake, unfortunately I lack a sweet tooth so I don't ask her to do it much lest it go to waste. She did recently make an apple pie for me however, and even put a little heart in the center of it. That was a damn good pie...

Oysters? Never tried. I've heard they're more of an acquired taste?

One of our sales staff brought this in during Thanksgiving week ..... It is a quick and easy Peach Pie .....

                          2 Cans Peach Pie Filling
                          Brown Sugar
                          1 tbsp Lemon Juice
                          Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
                          1 Stick of Margarine

Pour both cans of pie filling in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle lemon juice then brown sugar on top evenly. Put the entire box of cake mix over the brown sugar. Then cut margarine into thin slices and place on top. Bake on 350 for 25 min with a glass pan and 30-35 min on a dark pan (depends on how dark it is)

Here is another EASY recipe .....

                              TACO SOUP

                              2 cans kidney beans
                              2 cans pinto beans
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 (16 oz) cans diced tomatoes
2 cans Rotel ( Regular is OK ... HOT is better )

                              1 can tomato sauce
2 lbs ground beef, browned & drained
                              1 pkg taco seasoning mix
                              1 pkg ranch dressing mix

Stir all ingredients together and simmer for one hour. Good with cornbread, or top with grated cheese and serve with corn chips or tortillas .
                              "The Serenity Prayer" . . .
God grant me the serenity to accept stupid people , the courage to not waste my time and energy on them , and the wisdom to know that I cannot fix STUPID .
