I hear that driving is a privilege not a right...sure does not seem like that around here. May be one day once cars are all self driving, then we can say it's a right, of course only if you have the money to buy a $200,000 car. Otherwise, you have to walk...

That is supposedly still taught in driver training here in Land Mass . Down here we call it the two second rule .
I had to take a Defensive Driving class when I got out of high school and was working part time at the telephone company.
        It was a One Day Class ( 8 - 5 ) and was extremely intense .

Maybe someone should come up with an APP to assist drivers , since most of them now keep a phone in their face while attempting to drive .

There is one for the iPad, it's the one that shows you exactly what you can see behind it. Not sure what the name is, because I don't buy unnecessary Crapple products.

I don't know if it is still the case but in Germany if you failed your driving test 3 times you were banned for driving for the rest of your life and the only option was public transport.

Try doing a tech job on that one.

I guess that poor South Korean woman who had to take her test over 900 times would have qualified for this...

Maybe she should have moved to North America. Seems like any moron can get a license up here...

Here in Michigan, being a moron is a requirement to drive. How do you think I got this job? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Seems to be matched by the stupidity of DOT road maintenance. Seems like they don't ever actually fix anything, they just move the traffic cones and detour signs around every night to create a new and interesting mess each rush hour.

I have a friend (born in Russia, BTW) that gets up early on Sunday mornings with his brother. They bring lawn chairs and a cooler of beer. They set it up across the street from a church in a parking lot. They crack open beers and wait for the congregation to arrive. The congregation at this time of the morning is Korean and he says they laugh until they cry. He says its funnier than the funniest comedy show on TV. Says some of the women take 4 or 5 tries to "drive in" to a parking place. He was not talking about backing in or parallel parking, but driving forward. Claims it's the most fun you can have for the least amount of money.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

Oh what a tough life ....life was tough when one had to repair a Canon NP80 and then clean a blocked filter in the tank of a Canon NP50. Then overhaul the tanks of an A0 machine now that would be one bitch of a day ...
