    Sales

I had 2 sales today both from the domain hp.com. One was in Boise, ID. and the other was in Vancouver, WA. Both females, AND..................they both bought the same manual. What a coinky-dink. It was a Sharp manual they bought. I have 2 customer's from the domain xerox.com who buy all my Samsung manuals. Is this a great country or what!

Must be going to a meeting where new ideas will be ask for. I always tell people all copiers have the same features, they just hide them in different places and call them different things.

Unless I'm mistaken the Sharp AR168 box was repackaged under both Toshiba and Xerox's brand... Could be another one or two I don't know about.

Pretty sure some of the new Sharps are made my Mattel.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

Had to like that based on my recent experience with an MXM232D...

Some of the desktop Ricoh printers are made by Fisher Price.

No, wait, scratch that. If they were, they would actually work.

If they have one that when you press start, two Hot Wheels cars come out and do a loop, I want that one.

Lexmark must be made by Whamo.

But they never made it around the loop. Biggest lie of my childhood.

As a relatively inexperienced (Ricoh-only) tech, it didn't surprise me too much to see that the (few) Ricoh printers I work on have a 90k PM cycle. That was pretty much in line with the type 1515 series, anyway.

I got my hands on a (free!) HP 4100TN printer yesterday. Imagine my face when I saw the 200k PM cycle in the service manual.

Hey those things are bulletproof. I've still got 15 or 20 of those in a glass manufacturing facility that closely resemble piles of dirt, yet somehow still manage to print. I can't think of another machine I would put in that environment. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
