If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: I would rather be hit in the hand with a hammer...
There was a customer with a Mita DC-131 years back. It was common to have paper follow the drum, wrap inside the cleaning corona unit, and break the cleaning corona wire. After three or four of these visits the customer knew what to look for. For a while they stopped by the office to get wires strung. At the time it was $10 per unit for walk ins.
After a few of these office visits and some watching, we didn't see them again for a while. The customer did not know that the wire was something special (tungsten), so they used what they had. In this case it was an 18gg stranded copper lamp cord with a single strand separated off.
Damn! I was impressed!
It takes some skill to string tungsten or platinum corona wires. It takes 10 times the skill to string 0.040 inch copper wire! The twists don't hold well, it breaks easily ... KUDOS! =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Granted, there's still a level of comfort acquired after a few years on the job. The advantage of youth is it gives more time to adapt to changes. I say bring on the technology!Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?Comment

Yep, kids today are spoiled and don't know what it was like to show up late for homeroom back then. The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Stephen HawkingComment
