Acronym here and there.. I take it ..if there is a whole sentence or more, then I just reply "Cool Understood Nobody There!" or "Complete Utttrblsht Now-sence That!"
Usually works, and if doesn't, I ask them to send me a joke instead, so I can have a laugh.

I'm pretty much grumpy about everything these days, a bit like Jeff Dunhams character Walter.
As the saying goes, 'You're only as old as the woman you're feeling'....
So I'll guess I'll go out Friday night and dance like it's....well, 1986? Just without the mullet

Remember guys, you are not old as long as you can still satisfy your wife. Cooking dinner on weekends seems to do it for mine.

I haven't got a wife to keep me young, so I must be old.

My pet hate is apostrophes in the wrong place or missing completely. Several of my friends on Facebook are scared to write on my wall just in case it's grammatically incorrect

Another major gripe of mine, over here in the UK most people claim to be very patriotic, yet 50% of the Union flags I see are flying upside down, if you are going to fly the national flag at least learn how it's supposed to fly
