    financing copytechnet

whilst we can see this site needs finance, does it charge a fee for those who seek to profit financially from this site eg selling manuals ?

Very simple. Advertisers pay to keep this site running, like Paul from Justmanuals.com.

Just Manuals pays for his advertising on this site & has helped out many with his service manuals. Even at times at No Charge.

I pay to advertise here since the site went live and I donate every month. I also give free manuals to those who help out a lot and to non-profits.

ten out of ten .the timing is spot on .the good old three monthly knock manuals 4 you junk .i think there must be an app on iphone or ipod that reminds people that its three months since the last time the chain was pulled.

He's just trying to make a living, like the rest of us. What's the big deal? You're just jealous that you didn't think of it first. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Thanks Paul.

Here we go again with Copytechnet daycare. Maybe there should be a charge for it. I for one am thankful that this site is here. Oh, I do enjoy reading these threads. They can become quite comical.

I merely asked whether these people contribute to this site, character assassinations are not the sort of behaviour expected from those of us who genuinely use this site for Imaging industry reference. If you can't say something useful , don't say it at all.

You use this site for Imaging industry reference? I though we were all on here for the jokes and to bitch about salespeople and moron customers...

That little stack of gold bars under M4U's banner means Paul has done much more than most people to keep this extremely valuable resource free to use by people without little stacks of bricks under their banner (notably yours)

Yes, he can be annoying at times. Yes, Everybody hates spam. Yes, advertising is a necessary evil. Therefore, "Goldbricking" is not only acceptible on CTN it's encouraged... And the entertainment value of these little rants is quite high as well.

Paul, have you thought about selling a manual on "How to beat a dead horse on CopyTechNet"? You'd make a killing.

I've learned a lot from my peers on this site, and I believe I've contributed a few times, so as a technical resource, it's very good, but I find myself going to the rants/raves section 1st for the humor before delving into a technical question. It's like trying to start the morning without that 1st cup of coffee. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Or turning to the comics first, before flipping to the serious news.

That's a newspaper analogy for those of you have never seen one. =^..^=
