Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
Never use it. I work with Firefox and the very nice add-ins for it. Especially the ad-blockers are very fine. I'm not bugged by flashing banners or any other disturbing crap distracting me.

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
IE 9 and 10 are actually pretty decent browsers. I mainly use FireFox, but when I've had to use Internet Explorer on someone else's machine with the newer versions I haven't run into the kind of scripting problems and other garbage that most of the older versions were fraught with. If it had an ad blocker that actually worked I'd consider it as a daily driver.
I'd use Internet Explorer over Chrome or Safari any day. Chrome either seems to have some kind of bug in it that requires a weekly update or it tries to take over my entire computer, and since I'm not a slave to Google it can bugger off. I do have a couple of systems it's on though just for some testing of mobile apps that a friend and I have been trying to cook up, but other than that it's never used anymore. Safari is just as bad, I mean mind blowingly bad: terrible UI on the Mac and it just seems to be a bloated overly thought out piece of trash when I've used it.Comment

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
I only use IE for sites that will not work sufficiently in anything else (e.g. ActiveX controls or Sharepoint stuff). Short of this I avoid it like the plague...But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
I have always used IE. But about a year ago, I started having issues. Kept the versions up to date. Still had issues. Changed over to firefox and as happy as a pig in slop. Since then I have spoke with a lot of users and IT folk. Lets just say I have not heard a good word about IE. IE is part of the Windows OS, so your stuck with it. The good thing is you don't have to use it. Hey, everybody can't be good with everything. I'm ok with windows, just not IE.Comment

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
I use Pale Moon, a 64-bit fork of Firefox, alongside Google Chrome (sometimes it's just nice to have a choice).
Just recently stopped using Opera on my smartphone, as it had been freezing up the whole device increasingly often. The newest version still seems pretty snappy on my tablet, though.
Chrome is great on mobile, but takes up a TON of space; on space-restricted Android devices I'd go with Dolphin.Comment

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
That's it right there. I've got a couple of manufacturer sites that require ActiveX controls, for everything else it's Firefox. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
For work stuff on the work laptop, I use IE, and it does OK. Besides, it is their computer, I'll let them take care of it.
But for my home machine that I bought (which was top of the line back in the day, but now is old) I use Firefox. It really is just that much faster.Comment

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
For me, it's primarily the 2 SharePoint sites I'm on every day and installing software in Ricohs.
Otherwise, it's Firefox or Chrome.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment

Some things you can use FireFox ... BUT, Training, Portal , etc ......... gotta use that dagnasty , virus totin' , ie .
If I have to use ie at home .... I run Spybot and Panda after I close out of that ie session ........ just to get rid of all the adware and other junk that ie thinks you need to have installed ."The Serenity Prayer" . . .

Re: How do you feel about Internet Exploder?
I loathe IE with a passion.. I only use it for certain sites ( IE extension for Chrome has not worked for me). Most time I use Chrome(mainly work laptop) at home I use Chrome but keep coming back to Fire Fox. They had ABP first and it worked. It's not always as fast as Chrome but its more robust IMO.
