I had one of those, it was seriously ugly, so I played around with it, then dropped in into my handbag (just in case I ever used the ESD kit LOL), I completely forgot about the watch until I was taken into hospital and at about 6am, the alarm started going off in my bag, I'd never heard it before as my bag was downstairs. It took ages to work out how to turn the alarm off LOL, I think I threw the watch away after that.

But I do wear a watch, I feel naked without it, and I have a tan line that would look silly if I wasn't wearing it.

I have to wear a watch. If I didn't it would look silly for me to keep looking at my naked wrist every 5 minutes.

This, and it's still my quickest, most convenient way to find out the time (and the date). Scanning the room for a clock is boring, and fishing my phone out of my pocket is boring.

No, I don't. I stopped doing so almost 15years ago. The copier repair business indeed doesn't favor the use of one since you have to remove it every time you 'charge' into a machine. Our home market here is also flooded with too many fake watches that I had to replace one every almost 2-3 months, I gave up. I still feel my wrist is naked but have accepted this reality.
