Re: Woman and Cars.......
That was painful to watch, but let me assure you, not all women are that bad, I can park in smaller gaps than most men I know, I used to shame my ex-husband into parking in smaller gaps than he was comfortable with, if he told me a gap wasn't big enough, I used to say that I would park it for him if he couldn't do it, somehow the gap always became big enough at that point LOLThere are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don't -

I KNEW you would be the 1st one to answer Debs.
You must be a good driver for sure with that handicap that cars in your country have the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Re: Woman and Cars.......
It's a good thing that it was a really small car. She may never have escaped. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Woman and Cars.......
I think one of the reasons women got a bad reputation as driver is how they were trained. Before driver training in schools, most women were trained either by their father or their husband. Neither of those two individuals were qualified driving instructors. Both of them could be to cautious to properly train in how to handle truely difficult tasks starting and stopping, driving in heavy traffic, and parallel parking. Most of the time was spent driving in circles in an empty parking lot.Comment

Re: Woman and Cars.......
nah the Dutch have it right IMO, nothing but bikes. I remember my trip to Amsterdam they just pile em up in the square. Don't have to worry about parking lol. I remember watching this girl throw one in the pile, while another dug one out. Women and bikes?Comment

Re: Woman and Cars.......
-At a traffic junction or cross roads, while a male driver would take some risk and drive through it with 'minor' looking left and right before crossing, a woman driver would stop there for as long as it takes until she's absolutely sure that its safe to cross. It is very rare here for a traffic Police officer to wave down a woman driver for over speeding or drunk driving.
- The only problem i've noticed with them is their lack of interest in knowing how their car [engine] functions....at least basic knowledge. Most do not even bother to know or check what takes place beneath the bonnet. The local mechanics here like very much to deal with female car owners, lady drivers are their best clients.....again don't ask me why; but the mechanic's word is 'gospel truth' to them.Comment
