The Bellamy Brothers servicing their Konica 1250R/E. When they heard I was a fan, they fixed me up with CD's and auto'd pictures. Very nice bunch of guys. Hulk Hogan in Clearwater some years ago, not a word. I like this thread, probably won't result in a lot of "bashing". Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.
Alan Whicker, Gilbert o'Sullivan, Ian Woosnam, Jack Walker, Harry Patterson aka Jack Higgins, Nigel Mansell, must be more....but that's what happens when you live in a "tax haven"....

I haven't really met many famous people (not that I'd recognise most of them if I did), but as Ricoh sponsor the ATP tennis tournament, I have been one of the onsite engineers for 2 years (missed out this year due to my operation ), so I have got to meet a few famous people, last year I had a conversation with Boris Becker about Formula 1 , but, after midnight on the final day, when we were disconnecting all the machines ready for collection the following day, I was like a zombie I was so tired, my colleague asked if I had just seen who wished me a good night, I hadn't even noticed that there was anyone there, damn, I do love Roger Federer, why didn't I notice him talking to me LOL
There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don't

boring old local gov't officials. Although manufacture sponsorship has gotten me close to Gorbachev, Tiger & USGA.
They aren't famous, but thank you Mr. Salesman for placing a copier here http://www.clubnorthern.com/ (NSFW) Haha, techs fighting over this call!!
The former owner of the company was also on the original board of directors for the Kern County Park. When the construction was complete, Pele came and gave a speech. I got the chance to meet with him as I was the one in charge of the audio setting up.
I got to see Jeff Gordon's team offloading one of their cars once. Took some pictures, too. But they were some of the biggest jerks so I tossed the camera out the window on my way home. Hopefully, archeologists in the future will find some use for that.
Back when I was pushing a broom third shift at the truck stop, Blue Oyster Cult pulled in (their tour bus had broken down (if you drive a diesel, make sure you fill up with number one fuel or add "Power Serve" during winter, at least around here)). That was pretty cool.
Back in 1990 and 1991 I worked evenings and weekends in a poular appliance / audio store. (Let's face it, quite a few of us in our industry have to take on something extra from time to time...)
Since the store was located in a convenient location between downtown Cleveland and the affluent West Side suburbs where most of them lived, quite a few of the Cleveland Browns and Indians would buy their appliances, audio, and video systems from us. (The Browns were actually good back then.)
Some of them were really regular customers.
