I lost all of my rep once. I even went through the 5 stages of grief and loss:
1. Denial - I kept refreshing the page to make sure there wasn't some sort of mistake. Maybe it would come back.
2. Anger - I was mad at the person who took my rep. "How dare you?" I thought. It was just an innocent little joke you big meanie!
3. Bargaining - I told myself I should have never have said what I did and I would take it all back if it wasn't too late.
4. Depression - But it was too late... my rep was gone and I wept.
5. Acceptance - And after I went through those 4 stages I was ok with it cause, like it's been said before, it doesn't really matter and look at me now! I have some number of rep that I don't remember without looking at it!
You'll be ok too my friend. Time heals all wounds.Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

I glanced at your post about the op screen. Iowatech gave you a helping answer. But you did not like it and gave a jerky smart a$$ response to him. On some of the Kyocera machines there is a dial that you rotate to lighten or darken the screen. His answer to you was a good one.Anyway like everyone says, don't worry about it.I use to have a bunch of red cards. But decided to be kind, loving, and freindly and look at all my green cards now. I'm soooo happy.LOL.Comment

Don't worry, Be happy!! You have a rep of 4 with 80 something posts. That's better than mine when I was at that many post. But seriously, rep power means nothing to me now. What does mean something is I can come here and get help when I need it and give help when I can. That's what this site is for, techs working together solving problems and educating each other. Being nice and respectful while doing it. And yes, many of us can be jokesters, its what keeps us from going nuts. Glad your here.Comment

Getting snippy with anyone is always a good way of getting your rep power raped off you, especially if it's a good suggestion dismissed off-hand. Sarcastic comments like "of course I've cleaned the optics, cleaned the glass, changed blah blah" are all well and good, but don't say "as I said I've already tried that, you're an idiot for suggesting it" or words to that effect, you deserve your rep power taking off you. Accept the suggestions of seasoned professionals and be thankful they bother taking the time coming on this site to help you.
