It still means nothing and serves no purpose other than measuring the amount of laughter generated by a joke, but it's a season for lots of green as opposed to red.

Rep Shmep... Who cares. I had rep at one point and Paul zero'd it out because he didn't like a joke I posted. As if that one joke somehow negates all the helpful info I've posted over the years. Its obviously a poor indicator to judge people by.
