Done the Edinburgh Hogmany street party then clubbing thing a good few times. Cant be arsed now. Must be getting old.

I find my tolerance of people is pretty low. Well, lower than normal. Best I just sit in a dark room and drink on my own

Yep, I'm doing exactly what I did last year, sitting home alone with a cup of tea, it's past my bedtime, but there's no point in going to bed as everyone outside is making so much bloody noise that I'll never sleep anyway, and in about an hour and a half my phone will go mad with drunk people wishing me a Happy New Year. I'm such a miserable old bag LOL, that's what being single for too long does for you.

I just turned 66 a week and a half ago. Still don't like noisy crouds, hockey, basketball, and arena football excepted.
