    Multi TTI Faxmachines.

Customer is looking to replace his Panasonic DF-1100 dinosaur fax (20 years old... LOL).

The new fax machine must have the same capability as the old DF-1100 by allowing multi TTI's. At least 12 are needed but more is better.

Do you guys and gals know of any fax machine being capable of this? The brand really doesn't matter much but KonicaMinolta or Panasonic I personally prefer.

    Thanks

    Re: Multi TTI Faxmachines.

    Hans, KM products do this.

The reason I know is that my customer bought the dual fax line options, and expected to send and receive on both lines with different separate TTI info. If you've ever installed a dual line fax you know that the machine sends on A or B but never both. But you can very easily program and select the TTI information from memory locations. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks Cat, but which model in the higher range for business use has it and especially how many entrances would be possible? Customer needs at least 12.

The machine I installed was a bizhub C280. It had 20 memory locations (max 30 characters each)..
I just pulled up the bizhub C224e online users manual. It has 20 memory locations (max 30 characters each).

If you check the Fax Users Manual under Fax Headers-User Settings, you'll see what I mean, for whatever model you like. =^..^=

I would suggest looking into Ricoh faxes. They have a surprising amount of customization options for things like extra lines and programming.

Cat, thanks but I know that the large Bizhub MFP's can do that but the customer wants only a standalone fax.

Since KonicaMinolta seems to be out of the standalone fax business only Kyocera or Panasonic are left as an option. Ricoh they hate because of their very negative experiences with several B&W Ricoh's in the past.

              Re: Multi TTI Faxmachines.

bizhub 20, magicolor 1690MF, FAX2900, FAX3900 has only one TTI selection
bizhub 25 has three TTI selections
