I think its getting pushed by that locomotive and only going "half throttle" there would have been more smoke.

Keep in mind that weather satellites only take one picture every half hour. They are a fine indicator of approaching weather based doom, but not something you'd ever want to bet your life on.
I thought this looked better in full screen mode, so I'd recommend that if your machine can handle it.

Sorry, I have a soft spot for puppies in general, and Border Collie puppies in particular as there were nine in the last litter at Mom and Dad's place.

Yup.
And apparently magnetic field reconnection can be a problem with terrestrial efforts to wring power out of extremely hot plasma using strong magnetic fields too.
Or something else.
I just thought the video was cool (especially in full screen mode). Sorry.
