    Re: SOCCER:WORLD CUP

I read about this State of Origin game for the first time here last night, then today while sitting in an establishment in Canada, I saw the Queensland vs NSW game on one of the screens. How cool

I have watched every game so far
i hope Brazil finally wins it all at home, but the Germans can never be counted out.
however no Euro side has ever won it all in South America

They went single overtime in game one, double overtime in game, I was looking forward to at least triple overtime for game five. Liked the results though.

Haven't watched a game, don't plan on watching a game. Soccer/football should be a water sport, there is an awful lot of diving involved.

What???? You can't get much more American than the Rangers..And I did watch the USA Ghanna(SP?) match. It was the 1st game I ever watched, and other than the 1st 5 min, and the last 15, it was like a giant ping pong game. Had to have a lot of stuff explained (like corner kick, why time was added after the original 90 min ran out, and what was the difference between red/yellow cards), probably wont watch another one. BTW, it's not as bad as Girl's Lacrosse, my daughter plays in goal for a local HS team. You want to talk about watching paint dry??? That was one of the most boring hours I've ever spent....After watching her play defense for her Ice Hockey team for many years, I was so bored, I walked over to the boys field and watched them play.
