    That feeling...

That Feeling you get when you are doing a simple optics cleaning on a Lanier ld320, and you realize the scan mirror is now laying in your hand. Oh what a feeling!

Doc feed repair with nothing but a pocket knife. They were a little concerned when I opened it, as I had just been there the week before for an unrelated problem.

Equivalent to that nightmare you have when you suddenly realize you've gone to work but forgot to put on pants.

I had to do that once. God bless the leatherman Wave. It did take a little longer.

Canon's were great for that. Those little spring clips would drop right out with the slightest provocation. (Where's the damn clip!)

I can't remember if it was an Ace or a True Value. The town has both and they are about the length of a football field apart.
