      Nope. Not me. =^..^=
I've travelled the Europe just like that, backpack tent camera water few canes of beans few bags of pasta, 1 pot, 1 travel bottle, 1 towel, tothbrush, spare jeans and Tshirts and hiking socks (Smartwool) best socks ever!! Camped on camp sites in France, Portugal, Italy .. The odd camping on beaches like Cote d' Azur, Donostia San Sebastian, Lagoa D' Albufeira and the most beautiful sunset when we camped on top of the biggest sand dune in France maybe Europe The Dune of Pilat. Have hitchhiked most of the travels, met amazing people and had a lot of adventure. And that I wouldn't be able to do from the cosiness of my sofa.
Getting out of our comfort zone pays dividends to some.

Now I am nailed home to fulfil my son needs, but as soon as he can walk, I'll be looking forward to my next adventure with him.

This has actually been one of the mildest winters I've experienced since moving here. Yeah it dipped to -45C some days but lately it's been hanging around -15 to -20. It's nice to be able to go outside without a jacket...

Saw this article in the paper, it does a good job of showing the consequences of not having the right gear and how to deal with a wolverine.
