    Done

June 30 will be my last day doing service calls. Knees can't take it any more, so weary of dealing with people, and my retirement kicks in when I hit 60 this month. Boss wants to keep me around part time to do parts, preflights, etc. under the table. That's fine with me! Cant wait!

Thanks, gonna look into getting knees worked on, and spend time on my long neglected yard. Might just sit in the shade with a stogie once in a while too.

Congratulations. I'm looking forward to that myself. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Way to live the dream, man. I can only imagine there is no greater feeling than having a career come to a successful completion into a retirement that is both hard earned, deserving and most importantly, funded.

Of course, I'm sure we all hope to continue to see your support here. ^.^

Best of luck with the knee's, enjoy the yard time, I find it to be rather relaxing and good for the soul. A nice, fun project on your own time, own pace, own wants has a way of just washing away the stress of the world..

          And now I'm envious..lol, cheers.

              SWEET
              This is uncanny.
Today on my way home I started planning how to sign off from the forum when I retire next year, and now here you are showing me how.

I will be packing it in next year December, and I am scheduled to get a knee replacement this October.
My knee problems started as a sports injury.

You lucky, lucky bastard!! Hit 60 last year and thought I was on the downhill run with only 5 more to go then that twat Abbott changed the rules and its now six. And if that two fisted plonker Hockey get his way I won't be able to retire at all. Still enjoy yourself, retirement trip planned?

If you managed your finances better you wouldn't be crying about what entity or twat needs to support your wrinkly butt. The retirement age rises as life expectancy rises. Promising benefits wins elections but much harder years later when someone has to pay the bills.

???? I don't want their benefits, promised or otherwise, I just want them to stop moving the goal posts. I wondered who it was that voted for the Wingnut, now I know.

Yes, well, I'm half expecting the rug to be pulled out from under me at the last moment too! Hope you can get out at 66, or sooner if the rules change again. Fingers crossed for you. Would love to take a trip to Ireland with the Missus, neither of us has been there, but we'll see what the finances look like when the dust settles. Whatever happens, my knees will be greatfull for the break.
