Are there any (tech) girls out there?

Seems to me that the women working with copiers are mostly from the far east (factories), but I'm just wondering if they exist here in America (or Europe, Australia, etc.) Just curious...4PW00V15R8DN.jpg

We (copytechnet) have "Debs", she seems to be doing alright, I have only worked with one other female in this business, she stuck it out for close to 15 years then went to the TSA. We have only males now, a good percentage of Spanish (or latin), but for some reason, no African americans, not sure why that is though. Emujo

I read a newbie welcome from Debs to a Xerox tech that had recently joined. That was two days ago. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

haven't seen much from Debs lately, But BC said she's been around. But don't forget about the IKON Princess either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've met, worked with, or trained with several Lady techs over the years, and I've found that they're usually pretty good techs..........

If any lady techs ever apply I would want to employ them as I'm sure a bit of gender competition would make some of the guys pull their finger out!

My shop has 1 lady working currently, Marty. We had a second, but had to let her go when things slowed down. Marty is trained on all of the big color boxes. She is a great tech. Like all of the other women I have met in the field, she is very organized, writes everything down, Has every odd thing you would ever need to get through the day, has her inventory balance every time. She is the complete opposite of me.

At onetime she threatened to call it quits, and expressed her desire to join a supermarket business, probably she has carried out her threats.

She had been busy with the elections in Great Britain earlier this month. Her son was elected Councillor for Twerton.

Since you haven't introduced yourself in the Newbie check in forum I'll say "Glad to have you join us" here. You might want to post a little about yourself in you profile.
