    Hello Everyone

    I have been servicing Ricoh's since last October and have been using this site as a resource off and on since. I decided today to finally register an account. I took this job as something better to do while I finished online school in Information Systems but have decided I may want to actually make this my career. I look forward to being able to post on this forum and help and be helped by you all.

      Glad to have you join us. Depending on who you work for, copy techs can frequently double as IT for some of their customers.

            I must warn you though that someday you may want to change careers, and you will be sucked back into copier repair. You can't leave for long. Maybe a person just gets so embedded in their particular niche that that person no longer fits anywhere else as well. Weird, huh? =^..^=
            If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
