    Checking in From Midtown West NY

    Hello my fellow Techs, I've been hunting for forums that can better enhanced my knowledge of Canon machines. I've a service technician whom was hired last year. Given the structure of the Canon company, I have many things to learn. Tons of stuff =]

    Furthermore, I've been looking for tips/guides/troubleshooting skills that can make me a better tech.

    Note this is my first time in the copier business.

    I'm trained on a wide array of machines, IRADV 40/42, 50/52, 60/62/65, 70/72/, 80/82/85, 90/92 and IPF.

                  Welcome! This is a great way to start being a better tech.

                  Read threads, Post when you have something interesting to say, preferably on topic but not necessarily. I'll be watching for some of those posts. =^..^=
                  If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                          Hello strangers, I've taught my post wasn't approved during the first week of my stay. Otherwise, it's great to see several people posting.

                          If I may add on, I'm going for training on the oce plotwave 300/360/500.

                          While I'm completely new on that brand. I will try my best to provide any necessary help.

                          As per Canon. I'm also ATSP certified if that means much to anyone.

                          I've been overload with training on several machines within the last 7 months. I assume that many other techs had a certain "grace" period with said machines. And their quite comfortable.

                          Without typing a huge post in the welcome thread. I have to become to better tech while I'm still learning the lay of the land. However, all the book knowledge can take you but so far. I need actual troubleshooting, tips, tricks and guides from seasoned veteran.
