    Director of Information Services

    Hello..

    Newbie to the forum, glad to be on board. Background check: 10 year MFP tech, mostly Ricoh. CS degree and CDIA+ led to gigs in content management software pre-sales, just joined new(er)copier dealer (mostly Ricoh) as Director of IT to run the fleet management (FM Audit), connectivity and network side of service and promote/pursue content management engagements with existing client base. Really enjoying the challenges and glad to have a tech community to learn from and hopefully even contribute some. Strengths are in fleet management, scanning/printing connectivity, third party content repositories, Microsoft SharePoint and general IT. Weak on newer platform mechanical tech., scanner hardware and diagnostics.

                              Please try to excuse any disparaging comments that I may have made about IT professionals that seem to know even less than me, if you can believe that. =^..^=
                              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
