    Newbie here

Hi. I learned analog copiers way back when and didn't work on them much. My experience is with printers. HP LaserJet mostly, but an occasional Lexmark, Kyocera, or inkjet have come my way over the years. I am now thrown into the fire working on Canon and Bizhub's. I am pretty good with the mechanical part, but the whole hard drive and interface is foreign to me. I work in a situation where I am all off by myself in a territory, so no fellow techs to help in person.

What brought me here is a Canon iRA C5235 will intermittently not print faxes received. I'm still trying to understand clearing partitions, uploading a backup from the machine, and reloading firmware. If anyone knows of a good tutorial on this I sure would appreciate it. I have SST if that helps.

        Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
