What's up guys nice to meet y'all. I use this forum quite a lot to help troubleshoot my service calls. I guess I'm a lurker as I haven't posted anything so the site warned me I'll get deleted soon if I don't post something. I've been a copier tech for about 1 1/2 years now. I mainly work with Konica Minolta (working on my master certificate) but also sometimes on Ricoh, Sharp, and rarely other brands. My work also sells and services KIP and Canon plotters so I'm learning to work with those too. I'm definitely getting more comfortable with fixing copiers although I'm still a long way off from being a guru like you guys. My background is in IT so the software and networking side of things is my strong suit. Anyway nice to meet y'all and thanks for all the insight you provide here!

Re: Hello
Sometime in that third year you'll be just having an average day and you'll discover that, yes ... you actually know what you're doing ... sort of. You'll never really know everything that you need to know, be you'll get a confidence that you can figure it out, regardless of what the problem is. It's a good feeling.
Welcome! =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
