When is a newb not a newb? When I'm an OLD newb!

Hey all, James here. I'm a long time follower of this site, and have learned a lot over the years from all of you. I finally decided to create an account for myself so I can post and contribute.

I've been in the printing industry since 1991, working my way up from total newb to General Manager. I love what I do!

I've also owned my own business since 1994, providing consulting and IT services for multiple companies from SOHO to government offices and more. I've been HP certified (though not currently) and am very comfortable working on all HP and Canon desktops, wide format and MFP's.

All of our production gear (formerly Xerox, currently Canon ImagePress and ImageRunner) is under service contract but I still provide backup support after hours, so I appreciate this resource!

In answer to the question posed, when he/she stops acting like a newb and becomes a mature tech.

      Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
