Hi. I'm Architect and designer making my first steps in large format printing

    Hi.

    I'm Tom.
    I'm architect and designer.

Wanted to say hi and look around.

Beside my profession, in meantime I'm working on wide range of projects in many different materials.
I like to search for creative solutions at the same time trying to keep it simple and clear.
I work in wood, metals, plastics; create new and restore items of forgotten value.
Often I repair some machines and tools, needed for making my projects, I find it ecological, economical and a great source of inspiration.

I decided to dive deeper into large format printing and got myself old Canon W8400Pg ploter.
I owned many laser and ink printers, and worked with some Canon IPF810 and IPF800 in office, but W8400Pg is my first own large format device and expreriment of a kind.

I'm trying to retrieve it's potential and print some grapics, projects and templates for a workshop.
I'll appreciate any help and knowledge from people expirienced in this area, and hope I can return a favor using my set of skills and gathered expirience.

    Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Welcome
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
