    Newb checking in this new technical hotel.

    Hello guyrls,

    I'm a new old kid on the block. Just stumbled upon this forum when I was looking to troubleshoot my old trusty Ricoh MP C2800. Spent almost USD1k already on its maintenance and repair. Last repair robbed me almost USD500 due to motherboard and the hexagon thingy problem. Now am looking to troubleshoot the machine minor problems myself as calling the technician over minor issues is a problem itself i.e not available, service fee is kinda through the roof.

    Hopefully I can gain some new insights, experience and skills while participating in this forum and can help others in the future.

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Glad to have you join us.

                  FYI the MP C2800 was introduced in October 2008. Parts are going to start getting very expensive, if you can find them.
