Just so you know, you're outnumbered 20:1 in this field, men to women.
I'm glad that you've decided to start on this career path. There's a lot to learn at the beginning, so don't get discouraged. You'll get a lot of help here.
Don't be afraid to ask the stupid questions. It's only stupid to be afraid to ask.
Welcome! =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When I first started in this business I couldn't believe that I could get paid to do something that I enjoyed to do so much.
What type of equipment? What brands? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

I wish you all the best.
There is one thing I can warn you about.....
I used to work with a female tech. She was great at her job and loved her career. However, she used to get abit upset that some male clients would treat her with a slight disrespect & tend to intimidate her, because she was female. I guess she was an easy target to them, but over the years she became very head-strong and didnt take too much crap from anyone after a while.
I'm just saying be careful of some idiot male clients who think you will be a pushover. Give as much back as they give you. Dont be an easy target for any harrassment.
You will find plenty of help on this website. There are some very good techs floating around.
All the best & good luck!Comment
