Just posting to say HI.
I'm an end-user for a pair of Canon IR C3220's that I picked up from the Texas Dept. of Transportaion's office that they closed nearby (for $400 each with only 54k and 67k on them and not a thing wrong with them).
I've been a HP tech many years ago, focused mainly on the HP CLJ 5 and 5M machines (mid 90's) and have some experience with Savin's, but I'm learning my way around these Canon's pretty quickly, and they seem to be serving us well. (My wife and I are both Oil & Gas landmen and we make several large reports on a weekly basis, so these machines definitely get a workout).
The consumer-grade machines just could not keep up with what we were dealing out, so after reading on here a while, I decided to go for these C3220's.
I pulled everything out and cleaned it all up, cleaned the TB blade on both, checked the drum life (they are original in both machines...with the life around 130-160% or so) but the CC is still ok, but I have spares on hand.
Glad to be a part of the forum!
