    HI!

I am a new member to this site. I am a dispatcher for a Company in NC. I love to research for the technicians and help them solve the problems with the copiers. This site has been great in helping me find many answers or directions in which to tell the techs. Keep the info coming!

I am truly impressed. Only one other dispatcher in all of my 20 years has taken the time to search the database to perform phone fixes, and to help gather pertinent information. I am sure all of us here appreciate your dedication.

Please search this website whenever you need to. Then ask, if you don't find your answer.
          Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            Fixthecopier...are you in NC?
Blackcat4866... Thanks! I love to help the guys and I have learned so much in the 5 years I have been dispatching. I would work on the copiers if my supervisor would let me but he says he needs me right where I am... and he will choke me if I try to do something like that...LOL. I do occasionally go back in the shop and help clean a machine or watch a tech with a trouble machine. The more I learn , the better I can help :-)

            Thanks for the welcome guys!

The best advice I can give you is to persist. If you really want to do this job, there will come a time when they need you to do it. Just learn everything you can. Volunteer for those easy calls, toner installs, parts replacements, then pretty soon you'll be indispensable. This is one of those occupations that either you have the basic skills or you don't. Plenty of women do this job well. Good luck. =^..^=

I am right across town. Lafayette Business Machines, when I said base tech, I meant Ft. Bragg.
