Minolta CF1501; resetting meter after replacing fusing unit

Hi,

We recently replaced the fusing unit on our Minolta CF1501 and even though the new unit is in it displays that the fusing unit needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how to reset the meter for that unit? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Was the fuser u installed new?

Yes, it was new.

If I remember correctly the machine should blow a fuse to reset the counter. The fuse should be located around the connector on the fuser. I think the fuse is a MCR-1/8 (could be wrong going off of an old memory!!!)
