    no you would have to have a tech come out and reload the firmware for it to work again, but it would definetly clear off the data if done correctly.

    i'll see if the additional functions is in the menu?
    we want to keep the machine working but clear all user data.

    i take it the machine will not function if the 'entire' drive is reformatted
    on a pc for instance.
