I hope to gain knowledgable insight and find solutions to common issues people have ran into out in the field..

        Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Ah, the things I could teach you...but you were talking about copy repair. The girls at work that answer the phone still don't understand why stearing a car with my knees to free up both hands, was a handy skill to have back in the 70's and 80's and, well never mind.

The best way to learn this is to go out and do it. Would I want the guy that said I can fix your car... I've read about it, or the guy that says I've been fixing these types of cars for 20 years.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
