Hello, I've been repairing printers, plotters and some copiers since 1994. I have had my one man business since that time. I worked my career job along with my repair business until 1998. Incorporated in 2000. I have regular customers and I do a lot of sub work for companies outside my area(Washington DC).I tend not to participate in online help sites since the old days in the newsgroups. I helped answer questions on printers, mostly to end users. At some point the abuse from the end users started to annoy me and also I didn't want to stop someone from seeking help from a professional repair shop. I would really rather help other techs with what I know.Lately I've been working on another companies contract that has all printers and two Ricoh copiers, one is an MP C6000. I'd love some hints on this puppy. Just figured out how to evoke the SP mode.I work on HP Laserjets Lexmark high end (made by Xerox) and Xerox. I was HP authorized (until they got real stupid). I am currently Xerox printer authorized. I stay away from low end printers from most companies.

Welcome! =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
