I signed up to ask for help on a SC 471 code on a old Ricoh AP3850C but after taking the transfer belt in and out 10 times and testing all that i could think of there it turned out to be a the ribbon connector had come loose.
now i just have to connect this older then the telegraph printer to the network.

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
