      Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi Jim, i'm a Newbie also, still trying to negotiate the system, I have picked up some good tips in the time i've been a Member, I was also born in England (Bolton) however WE shoulda had more GOLD in the Olympics, I have also been a Copier Tech for 30+ yrs, did you repair Typewriters prior to this as well?
I think the IRA-C5000 units are great m/cs but up-to-date F/W is a must, also levelling of the units to prevent E075 errors is Paramount.
Sorry about the waffling guys, had a few Beers, so welcome anyway Jim.

          Cliff.

Hi yes its a great site for picking up tips and engineering workarounds, I started at a dealers when the move from golfball typewriters to Electronic machines, also did canon Fax machines and adler ETW, favourite machine was the NP120 provided you didn't mind the hernia removing the fuser units, The new canon kit seems pretty reliable, we only have 200k on them so time will tell, Only problems where having at the moment is with iRAdv c2030i fuser units causing jams from paper curl problems have done the fuser temp and my machines are trhat new the have modified 3 way units from new, like the way you upgrade the firmware, lot less involved the KM.
