Figured it was time I joined up

Hi everyone, I've been coming to this forum for a while now seeing if people have had some of the same issues I have that were just so bizarre that no one in my company knew how to fix them, even stumping the manufacturer a few times, and decided it's time I actually join up and off what little knowledge I have

I'm rather green, only being in the field for 4 months now, working on primarily Ricohs, though I'm the guy my company calls on to fix our few Xerox machines that we occasionally throw out as loaners(though if it can't be fixed by googling it I'm just as lost as everyone else). This site has helped me quite a bit, and as I always end up with very odd calls I figured I'll start documenting them here in case anyone has a similar issue down the road. I end this with what my boss told me when I was put out on my own after only 1 week of training "Good luck, and remember you can't kill the clients, it's bad for business"

I like that! Welcome, and we'll be glad to hear what you have to say. Just joining shows you're willing to make a little extra effort. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
