Newbie Intro , hello from Greece

    Hello everyone,
my name is Dimitris Vali and i come from Greece. Ive studied electronics engineer ,and have been working since 2001 as a technician, mostly on Telecoms and Laptops, for Ericsson and Samsung. Later on i worked as a technical supervisor at a certified service point of Asus for mobile devices. A couple of years ago i managed to start my own buisness in the field of office automation/computers and general office hardware.
Up to this day, i had no idea of this forums existance. But due to my bad luck, i have a ricoh afficio 3030 to repair, and checking the service manual got me to the point i need to do a firmware update. so when you Google "FW aficio 3030", guess what, first result points to copytechnet.com! (good job there!)
So here i am. i was amazed with the content of this forum, and i think help can be provided by both me and you all as of my side of help, i am willing to provide any help on electronics repairs, for the ones needed.(i might be new to your field of service, but ive been changing chipsets and doing repairs on motherboards since 2003:P )

This completes my intro, hope i didnt bore you enough to kick me

Thanx again for the info you provide
    Dimitris Val

You're unusual, in that as a newbie you actually introduced yourself. This is much nicer than the typical alcoholics anonymous introduction: "Hello. My name is Bob, and I'm a technician."

        Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
